Sojha is five kilometres from the Jalori Pass, in a fold of the Seraj Valley that most travellers drive through without stopping. That is precisely what makes it worth stopping for. This is the Tirthan's quieter sibling — fewer lodges, fewer trails, fewer people. Just forests, apples, and the Great Himalayan National Park as your neighbour.

The camp sits in a clearing surrounded by deodar and oak, with views that stretch all the way to the snow line. Mornings begin with birdsong. Evenings end with wood smoke. In between, there are treks to Raghupur Fort, walks through rhododendron tunnels, and the kind of silence that a city dweller takes three days to actually hear.
